Wonder Garden support

Release status

Wonder Garden 0.1.4 is free to download and use. All twelve picture games, three levels, and toddler Keyboard Play are included. The free Mac App Store release is awaiting review.

Download for macOS. Open the disk image and drag Wonder Garden into Applications. The app supports Apple silicon and Intel Macs and is signed and notarized by Apple.

Play and parent settings

Wonder Garden requires macOS 14 or later.

The app has 12 picture games for matching, memory, patterns, sorting, counting, and stories. In Grown-ups, an adult can choose among three levels: Little sprout, Growing curious, and Ready to bloom.

The same settings let an adult change the explorer's nickname, spoken instructions, gentle sounds, and calm motion. Play works offline, with no ads, accounts, analytics, or in-app purchases.

Open Toddlers for Keyboard Play. Choose among twelve modes, including Ocean Party, Garden Party, Things That Go, and Music Party. Press physical or on-screen keys to see letters, animals, shapes, or counting pictures. The keyboard preview lights the pressed key. Party pictures stay in place until another key or Clear. Back to toddlers or Escape returns to the toddler section. This free-play activity does not earn flowers.

Spoken instructions

Turn on Spoken instructions and encouragement in Grown-ups and check the Mac's volume. During a game, Hear it again repeats the instruction and Show a hint gives a clue.

Choose a Garden voice and Speaking style. Use Listen to preview the voice and Stop to end the preview.

Wonder Garden uses speech installed on macOS. The app does not use an online speech service.

Saved flowers

The nickname, preferences, and flowers stay on the Mac. Start a fresh garden in Grown-ups clears the flowers after confirmation. It keeps the nickname and preferences.
