Born in New York, raised in Berkeley, educated at Amherst. I've spent my career building technology that moves fast, scales wide, and serves real people — from microsecond trading systems to products used by millions.
Building across Amazon's ecosystem — from the Ring Appstore and Intercom Plus to In-Garage Delivery, core shopping experiences, driver delivery apps, secure home delivery access, and home security integration.
Delivered secure mobile banking solutions for nationwide financial institutions, bringing modern digital experiences to millions of customers across the country.
Built C++ low-latency servers and trading algorithms on Linux workstations — where every microsecond mattered.
A liberal arts education rooted in classical thinking — completing all core math major classes as a freshman, then spending the rest of my time writing 100+ essays in language and translation classes. Translating ancient texts, crafting arguments, and exploring abstract concepts. "No tears in the writer, no tears in the reader…"
Born in New York, I grew up in Berkeley, California — where I got my start with computers through the Berkeley Macintosh User's Group. From an Apple IIgs to a Macintosh LC III to a Gateway 2000, I was hooked early.
That curiosity led me through the liberal arts at Amherst, into the high-frequency world of Chicago trading, through financial technology at Intuit and NCR, and into building products at Amazon scale. Each step taught me something different about what it means to build products well.
